This tutorial is for Shiny Happy People by REM (see YouTube clip below). It’s a beautiful, upbeat song – but the chords are really tricky as we move into Bs, Es and Bms. But the effort is worth it! I’ve made three videos; the first video runs through the intro; the second video is for the Verses and Chorus; and the third is for the Bridge on p2 right through to the end. I may do another tutorial when I get a couple of people together to sing the Chorus (in 3 parts) and also to do the lovely riff – which if you are interested is A: 9 9 7 E: 7 – 7 7 9 A: 7 E: 9 A: 9 – 7.
