Uko Ono is bringing Melbourne trio the Thin White Ukes to the Coffs Coast, performing ‘An Acoustic Bowie Odyssey’ on Friday 7 October at the new venue – The Link on Hogbin Drive. Across his career, Bowie wrote approximately 750 songs and released 27 studio albums. His songs are reborn in a lush acoustic universe in the dexterous hands of the Thin White Ukes. With tiny strings, ravishing vocal harmonies and classic glam rock attire, the Melbourne trio is renowned among the most passionate and inventive keepers of the late art-rock icon’s stellar legacy. So put on your red shoes… they’ll be floating in a most peculiar way…
