So, in February 2020, Sir Elton John came to Coffs to play a couple of gigs at the Stadium – and the Sawtell Ukulele Group felt he needed a support band! Of sorts!! We ended up performing pre-show at the gates; on the field; in the stands; in walkways – and then again at the gates after the show to see the punters out! It was spectacular. We put together a special Elton John Medley that was taught to many of my groups in the lead-up to the event – so from Beginners to Advanced players.
