I’ve included two videos to help with the classic ukulele ‘Island Strum’. The first runs through the strum pattern, breaking it down and giving you time to get a handle on the actual strum, using our 4 main chords (C, Am, F and G). The second video is a run-through Stand By Me – the perfect practice song for Island Strumming. In this song we do two rounds of Island on C, two rounds on Am, one round on F, one round on G and then another two rounds on C – and then we start again (C x 2, Am x 2, F x 1, G x 1, C x 2) and do that for the whole song.
