I was lucky enough to go to the Port Fairy Folk Festival in March 2020 – just before the world closed down – and I did a singing workshop and got to sing this fabulous song with Shane Howard himself – on the main stage (of the last day when nearly everyone had left)! So this arrangement is inspired by this experience. It is such a classic Aussie pub rock song from my youth which still resonates today. The first video tutorial looks at the song structure, chords, riffs and strum patterns and the second one focuses on the singing and harmonies. We have also prepared a couple sound file to highlight the melody and the harmonies of the song.
